Shiny, shiny, shiny and new

Getting a parcel is exciting. When it’s one full of new books, well that’s just lovely.

I love getting my reading list from New Writing North and then adding a massive pile of new and shiny books to  my already-towering ‘to read’ pile.

This year’s first two books have gone down well with the group, which was made even better in February with an influx of new members (welcome!) and FREE chocolate-covered Oreos.

The next few month’s books include stories based in 1950s Brooklyn, a Nigerian prison,  and a spooky crumbling mansion, and if you have any new books you think the group should read, do leave a comment and let us know!
